Established in 1995 and located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Sonoma County), we are one of the largest Drupal developers in Northern California. We have successfully deployed projects for hundreds of clients from around the world but remain focused on helping local business benefit from using the power of Drupal.
It is very rare that something so powerful can change a company overnight. Our long history as a web development company can be defined in single word: "Custom". Custom web designs, custom web programming, and custom web applications. These skills are things that we are most proud to promote. However, a "custom" Website doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch. Today, with the power of the entire contributed Drupal community, things are different. There have been so many advances in Drupal’s open source solutions that it is impossible for any web development company to ignore. The Drupal framework only enhanced our ability to develop custom Websites for our clients. Drupal changed our lives — It opened up new doors for all of us at Nu-Designs and our clients.

In 2009, our company converted our existing web development business to exclusive Drupal development. We had been a custom web development company since 1996. Read our story here. Since that time Nu-Designs has successfully launched and hosted over 150 Drupal websites.
In 2010, we created and currently maintain the community Drupal site madewithdrupal.com featuring over 120 Drupal Developers and 300+ Drupal websites. The site is made up of independent Drupal developers and their Drupal portfolio in an attempt to promote and educate people about the Drupal platform. The basic concept is for seekers of web services to not only find local web developers but with web developers who work in Drupal. See the About page on Made With Drupal.
In addition to MadeWithDrupal.com, Nu-Designs we also released the creative MWD Logo to the community. Hoping the community could use this logo in cases of promoting the Drupal platform as almost a stamp or certification. We posted the download link on the Drupal forum in 2010.
The Nu-Designs Website offers FAQ's for Drupal users who need support. They are currently written for Drupal 6 and are in the process of being re-written for Drupal 7. The Drupal support pages are step by step how-to's for site owners.
Nu-Designs has submitted a few custom Drupal modules and participates in Drupal forums under the drupal.org user account quinns (Nu-Designs staff member), nu-designs (Drupal Organization Membership), and Brad Cowen (Nu-Designs staff member and I do not currently have his Drupal user account info)
