We've started our Drupal activity in 2004. As an interactive agency, we decided to switch from bespoke CMS to open-source. We were one of the very first Polish software development companies serving Drupal. In the first place, we mainly operated with SME recommending Drupal as the CMS of the choice.

During these years we've been patiently educating Polish SME about Drupal advantages, modules, themes and open-source idea in general. At the same time, we've set up a blog (http://www.merixstudio.pl/blog/) and started to spread the word about Drupal by posting tutorials (i.e. theming instructions), answering community questions (mainly business people from small and medium firms, students).

We knew Drupal is the right direction. We've set up sub-brand www.drupal-works.com that attracted and converted many business owners into Drupal advocates. Being successful in commercial aspects and having experienced Drupal (and other web technologies) team of 100+ in-house developers, we started contributing to the Drupal community.

During these years we've built and customized many fascinating modules and enjoyed sharing our experience with other developers and companies.
