History

HCL Corporation is a global enterprise with annual revenues of US$ 6.0 billion. HCL Technologies is the first of three companies under HCL Enterprise. The second company is HCL Infosystems and in February, 2014 HCL forayed into healthcare with the launch of HCL Healthcare.HCL Enterprise developed India’s first indigenous micro-computer. The company has been a leader in technological innovation with many world firsts to its credit, including the first Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) in 1983, client-server architecture in 1984, and fine-grained multiprocessor UNIX installation in 1989. HCL is regularly contributing to Drupal community in a number of ways including contributed modules, case studies, forum support, bug reporting and developing patches.

HCL is the active maintainer of the number of modules for Drupal 7 at drupal.org and we've written many case studies on high performance websites using advance cache systems.

We also have a policy to make any patches needed for Drupal core or other contributed projects explicit, which means that we publish them and try to get them fixed. Number of the folks do code reviews and support on regular basis.
